This cofee shop located just behind the King's Bakery which located at Lorong Bangau 2. The Pan Mee was superb delicious and it is make of roughly blended celery leaves or spinach leaves. This Pan Mee shop is called Vegetable Pan Mee and was establish since 2001. We were very lucky as we were in troduced to Uncle Wilson the owner of the stall. He showed us how the pan mee was make from flour till a bowl of lovely Pam Mee.<br /><br /></div><div align="center"><a title="1 by foodstreetkl3, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/26326608@N02/2858385687/"><img height="500" alt="1" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3246/2858385687_24fa61749c.jpg" width="375" /></a></div><p align="justify"><br />A bowl of this Pan Mee is only RM3.80 and you can have it dry with black sauce or with soup. It comes with fish paste, fried soya bean skin and loads of celery leaves or green spinach. L like the texture of the Pan Mee, tender, soft, tasty and not too hard. The best part of it you can have either in a form of fine strings of pasta or in the shape of rectangular pieces of pasta. Each bowl is served with loads of fresh celery leaves which makes the noodle delicious and fregrant.<br /><br /></p><div align="center"><a title="2 by foodstreetkl3, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/26326608@N02/2858386037/"><img height="240" alt="2" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3194/2858386037_590fd1c52f_m.jpg" width="180" /></a><a title="3 by foodstreetkl3, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/26326608@N02/2859215096/"><img height="240" alt="3" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3035/2859215096_13aff92d9a_m.jpg" width="180" /></a><a title="4 by foodstreetkl3, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/26326608@N02/2859215240/"><img height="240" alt="4" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3036/2859215240_cc6979fcf7_m.jpg" width="180" /></a><br /><a title="5 by foodstreetkl3, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/26326608@N02/2859215508/"><img height="240" alt="5" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3091/2859215508_5bae167b2a_m.jpg" width="180" /></a><a title="6 by foodstreetkl3, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/26326608@N02/2859215954/"><img height="240" alt="6" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3197/2859215954_82803c893e_m.jpg" width="180" /></a><a title="13 by foodstreetkl3, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/26326608@N02/2858388877/"><img height="240" alt="13" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3153/2858388877_ac711a3a85_m.jpg" width="180" /></a><br /><a title="7 by foodstreetkl3, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/26326608@N02/2858387273/"><img height="240" alt="7" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3041/2858387273_d71d8881ab_m.jpg" width="180" /></a><a title="8 by foodstreetkl3, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/26326608@N02/2858387465/"><img height="240" alt="8" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3130/2858387465_0635e376ae_m.jpg" width="180" /></a><a title="9 by foodstreetkl3, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/26326608@N02/2858387841/"><img height="240" alt="9" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3155/2858387841_fd7dc04d51_m.jpg" width="180" /></a><br /><a title="10 by foodstreetkl3, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/26326608@N02/2859217066/"><img height="240" alt="10" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3111/2859217066_c0e7be3da7_m.jpg" width="180" /></a><a title="11 by foodstreetkl3, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/26326608@N02/2859217270/"><img height="240" alt="11" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3045/2859217270_59d1bfdc33_m.jpg" width="180" /></a><a title="12 by foodstreetkl3, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/26326608@N02/2859217632/"><img height="240" alt="12" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3293/2859217632_316dc3e77b_m.jpg" width="180" /></a> </div><p align="justify"><br />After being explained the making of Pan Mee and enjoyed a full bowl of Pan Mee by Uncle Wilson, it was so satisfying and I will defintely be back for more which I did<strong><em><span style="font-size:130%;"> <span style="color:#ff0000;">. . . . . I was informed that it took six hours to prepare the lamb which was marinated with traditional ingredients such as lemon grass, galangal and turmeric. The “kum kwai ko” was nice filled with lotus paste.<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="DSCN3189 by foodstreetkl1, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25960611@N02/2438577740/"><img height="375" alt="DSCN3189" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2346/2438577740_f6b69b6245.jpg" width="500" /></a></p><br /><br /><p align="center"><a title="DSCN3191 by foodstreetkl1, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25960611@N02/2438579706/"><img height="500" alt="DSCN3191" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2140/2438579706_661f84f693.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><br /><br /><p align="center"><a title="DSCN3187 by foodstreetkl1, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25960611@N02/2438581008/"><img height="500" alt="DSCN3187" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2041/2438581008_d808f10517.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">I got to say this is a very inspired vegetarian delight and with a huge range of dishes that will tickle your taste bud. The grilling was perfectly done and sure able to taste the present of sake and black pepper, so well marinated. While pricking into the fish with the pair of chopstick and dipping it into the terriyaki was such an awesome experience, it just melted in my mouth with the unique taste of the terriyaki.<br /><br /></div><p align="center"><a title="DSCN6274 by gregw3602b, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/27668175@N06/2578142840/"><img height="500" alt="DSCN6274" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3032/2578142840_3d54ff9a39.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><div align="justify">Next came this dish called Gyu Shoga Yaki (Pan Fried Beef with ginger sauce with japanese onions). Got to confess that I had not eaten such a dish since I came back from Scotalnd which was about nearly 8 years ago. "Oh! boy" It was one of my favourite dishes and I tried to learn how to make it at home but got to say mine was not as compartible with the chefs. The duck was well cooked till it was fragrant when it was deep fried. The meat was moist and not too dried. The meat was shredded and placed onto the pancake before wrapping, together garnished with deliciously "Hoi Sin" sauce and sliced cucumber plus spring onion.<br /><br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="DSCN5102A by bigboysoven, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/26563192@N08/2512251057/"><img height="500" alt="DSCN5102A" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2145/2512251057_402e80af13.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">The next tofu dish was authentic awesome. What do they have in common? They were real sour citrus fruits. In this last dessert Chef Jeff Ramsey had introduced us to miracle fruit. We ate this miracle fruit first before we continued with the citrus. Wow! those citrus fruits were so delicious sweet! Incredible!</p><p align="justify">This was what I found out about this miracle fruit. The berry is sweet, and contains an active glycoprotein molecule, with some trailing carbohydrate chains, called miraculin. When the fleshy part of the fruit is eaten, this molecule binds to the tongue's taste buds, causing bitter and sour foods (such as lemons and limes) consumed later to taste sweet. This effect lasts between thirty minutes and two hours. It is not a sweetener, as its effects depend on what is eaten afterwards, but has been used to cause bitter medicine to taste sweet.</p><p align="justify">I do admit that this is a real delicous dinner and am so impressed. I will defintely go for another molecular food! . . . . <em><strong><span style="font-size:130%;color:#ff0000;">Sidney</span></strong></em></p>Big Boys Ovenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14498466785947937265noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3355393694746428807.post-8635663276902283702008-05-27T17:44:00.002+08:002008-05-28T00:26:09.730+08:00Trendy, Slick & Adorable . . . It is a new restaurant located inside of the Swiss Garden Hotel, with a very trendy look, slick and modern setting, got to say it is very appealing to me, was attracted to the deco colours of this restaurant.<br /><br /><a title="sitting2 by foodstreetkl1, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25960611@N02/2517429309/"><img height="240" alt="sitting2" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2231/2517429309_d89d5d44ff_m.jpg" width="180" /></a><a title="sitting3 by foodstreetkl1, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25960611@N02/2517429311/"><img height="240" alt="sitting3" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3098/2517429311_9eb9d94590_m.jpg" width="180" /></a><a title="sitting1 by foodstreetkl1, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25960611@N02/2517429303/"><img height="240" alt="sitting1" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2346/2517429303_86a28e33b2_m.jpg" width="180" /></a><br /><br />I love the simplicity of the table setting and coloured pillows were used. The wall was laminated with beautifully wood panel and the lightings really set the ambient of the restaurant.<br /></div><p align="center"><a title="bread by foodstreetkl1, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25960611@N02/2517409625/"><img height="500" alt="bread" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3154/2517409625_4650b5052f_o.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">As we sat down, we were served with this lovely bread, crusty on the outside so soft in the inside and what make it so tasty was the tasty texture of the bread itself, it tasted a bit similar to bagels. Well I ate two of this gorgeous bread for sure and used it to wipe clean most of the sauce left on my plates, I am sure you will know this is a piece of luxury to me!<br /></p><p align="center"><a title="caesar salad2 by foodstreetkl1, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25960611@N02/2517409629/"><img height="500" alt="caesar salad2" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2016/2517409629_62843e5943_o.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">First we had the Swiss-Garden's Caeser Salad which was very fresh and I adored the parmesan cheese basket which was very tasty and went very well with the salad. The caeser dressing was very well spot on, a very refreshing salad.<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="Tom'sSoup2 by foodstreetkl1, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25960611@N02/2519448717/"><img height="500" alt="Tom'sSoup2" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2079/2519448717_65764c50aa_o.jpg" width="375" /></a></p>Tom's Soup is something simple but came with a twist. It may looked like a normal tomato soup but it had a great aroma and tangy taste of tom yam, I really love it and I had it with my bread.<br /><br /><p align="center"><a title="Neptune by foodstreetkl1, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25960611@N02/2518237944/"><img height="500" alt="Neptune" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2041/2518237944_7105ba251a_o.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">Then came our main course with a great surprise, and it was called The Neptune's Catch, a red snapper dish that came with a two combination of taste, tom yam and mixed herbs. I got to say this dish came with a surprise as it finished off with a perchik delight. Compliment to the chef for brilliantly stacking up the plate with the panfried fish fillets and potato wedges. I really love the way how the chef played with the ingredients and embedded the local taste and flavours, a true desire dish.<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="lamb by foodstreetkl1, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25960611@N02/2518237940/"><img height="500" alt="lamb" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2366/2518237940_204c6c5060_o.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">We got to say that that night we were lucky as we got to taste two additional dishes from the chef, the first one was De Chop, a New Zealand prime lamb chops deepfried with coated breadcrumbs, was well marinated and well presented, tastes good but was a bit dried.<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="salmon1 by foodstreetkl1, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25960611@N02/2518237948/"><img height="500" alt="salmon1" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3280/2518237948_d161e039ec_o.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">Oh this snapper fillet paupiettes is lovely indeed. Therefore healthy living by healthy eating is one way to stay in good shape and by going organic it is a must! Organic Life Café is the place to be when it comes to healthy eating. The food served here is awesomely delicious, unique and creative, something I never thought of having and also organic. They sell organic products too at the end corner of the café which I find them unique and so convenient.<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="no2 by foodstreetkl, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25766025@N06/2429735090/"><img height="375" alt="no2" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3049/2429735090_b07e4ccdc3.jpg" width="500" /></a></p><br /><br /><p align="center"><a title="no3 by foodstreetkl, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25766025@N06/2429735100/"><img height="500" alt="no3" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2343/2429735100_db9a639aa5.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><br /><br /><p align="center"><a title="no4 by foodstreetkl, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25766025@N06/2429735110/"><img height="500" alt="no4" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3280/2429735110_5f3a3975ac.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">As the day was hot and dry, in order to kill my thirst, I had a glass of Red Surprise fruit juice (beetroot, apple and pineapple) which was so delicious, unique and good for blood circulation. Next is the bright orangy pineapple juice which is good for digestion. I also managed to sip into the delicious wheat grass, apple and lemon mixed juice which is good for detoxing. All for the sudden I was getting excited for the food that was coming!<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="no5 by foodstreetkl, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25766025@N06/2429735118/"><img height="500" alt="no5" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2368/2429735118_5b5344325f.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">Now I got to recommend you this dish, so amazing and so beautiful, it is the Hor Fun Roll. It is a flat rice noodle and seaweed roll up stuffed with vegetable served with special home made chilli sauce. The roll was roll up so excellently and I know I can’t roll the way they roll them.<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="no6 by foodstreetkl, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25766025@N06/2429735128/"><img height="500" alt="no6" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2234/2429735128_b341956801.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">I always have this passion of having beancurd sushi (a japanese beancurd stuffed with japanese rice) and I find it here too but presented in a very different way, they called it “Foo Chok” sushi roll. Yes, very unique with a twist, beancurd pockets stuffed with rice, sweet corn, shredded carrot, pineapple, bean sprouts and a homemade pineapple sauce. It is so likeable and I am definitely a fan of this one!<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="no7 by foodstreetkl, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25766025@N06/2428953913/"><img height="500" alt="no7" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2402/2428953913_65604f146f.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">Next came the golden basket, a simple lightly fried potato basket with diced capsicum, water chestnuts, cashew nuts, mushroom, konnyaku and baby corn. Taste was good and it was the right type of noodle used. I got to say I did wallop all!<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="no9 by foodstreetkl, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25766025@N06/2428953929/"><img height="500" alt="no9" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2317/2428953929_ccef6960e6.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">When I saw the next dish, there was a sparkle on my face. It was the broccoli soup, a soup I end up making when I was abroad studying. It had been ages that I had this and what a relief. Now I got to compare mine and this, well . . . of course mine is always superior but I got to say theirs was not far from mine. Good balance of brocolli taste, creamy and the texture was good.<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="no10 by foodstreetkl, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25766025@N06/2428953937/"><img height="500" alt="no10" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2366/2428953937_210bd66082.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">I like this Vietnamese noodle called Sweet and Sour noodle. As you can see there are a lot of great toppings such as shredded vegetables, tofu and also sliced mushroom. The uniqueness lies beneath the toppings, the noodle top with the sweet and sour sauce. We had to mix them all up first before we were able to taste this dish which was so awesomely good.<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="no11 by foodstreetkl, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25766025@N06/2428953941/"><img height="500" alt="no11" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2408/2428953941_db7078e6af.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">The pineapple fried rice was good too and I like them to be served on the pineapple so tropical like the do it here!<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="no12 by foodstreetkl, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25766025@N06/2428953957/"><img height="375" alt="no12" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2227/2428953957_63a28181e1.jpg" width="500" /></a></p><br /><p align="center"><a title="no13 by foodstreetkl, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25766025@N06/2429796482/"><img height="500" alt="no13" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3024/2429796482_53ef7f6498.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">Claypot ‘Lui Cha’ set is so authentic, I just can fall in love with it so easily, so fresh, so pure and so different. Oh boy. Ain’t there a story to tell, falling in love with Teochew porridge always tickled me and so does this braised fragrant rice with cod fish and preserved vegetables in broth. It is a real dream come true for us, something you don’t get to do often. This opportunity we had when we visited and dine at Opulent Court, Pearl International Hotel recently. Our food was prepared by Master Chef Low who have been working around the globe such as Amsterdam and London on chinese cuisine and fine dining for nearly 15years and had been a 4years resident chef at Opulent Court.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBgvprnTrFYcrH0WL2AFZ_9wXV_5r5FoBoKa9FBSSsrlD2NyahGa60zPOE2gxX1RLVT5bItigcQ6-fdHKIQGwGt51GpIG8QqBy-3P2dAqVuqyB1KXP4Y3NdPW5z8ZcssRn3E06MA_atdQ/s1600-h/DSCN2014.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5183053564453608962" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBgvprnTrFYcrH0WL2AFZ_9wXV_5r5FoBoKa9FBSSsrlD2NyahGa60zPOE2gxX1RLVT5bItigcQ6-fdHKIQGwGt51GpIG8QqBy-3P2dAqVuqyB1KXP4Y3NdPW5z8ZcssRn3E06MA_atdQ/s400/DSCN2014.JPG" border="0" /></a>We kicked off with a few light starters, firstly we got to nibble the salmon thin rolls (hosomakli-zushi) topped with awesomely flying fish roe (yew chi sal mun yue kuen). The taste of rolls were so refine, Sunny just can’t have enough off them. I would say the sushi rice was cooked and seasoned to perfection.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3d7sLrH1ldJOMAIkovOrs6OW4oHZgfIfEGHgCvHOEFB6TaKLnz_6PGHefNDvH77wYLL9ZegZXTgL0ByOdZuQxP1ntife7d2P5PVJC6hx2KkYqqOSQubGuW4sd4lyNR-Gp3-GSfpk0mzY/s1600-h/DSCN2002.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5183048891529190818" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3d7sLrH1ldJOMAIkovOrs6OW4oHZgfIfEGHgCvHOEFB6TaKLnz_6PGHefNDvH77wYLL9ZegZXTgL0ByOdZuQxP1ntife7d2P5PVJC6hx2KkYqqOSQubGuW4sd4lyNR-Gp3-GSfpk0mzY/s400/DSCN2002.JPG" border="0" /></a>Oh my goodness, next came this black peppered jellyfish top with sliced abalone (hak chew pau see hoi jik). I got to be frank with you that I am a real die hard fan for not the abalone but surprisingly the jellyfish. You may ask me, why? Well, I love to bite into them especially for it’s crunchiness texture. This was done so perfectly, but there were not enough to satisfy myself and my desire but I noticed the abalone had disappeared so fast, must be my other dinner guests.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixJMxsb24AOsxp4m8pjUgbd0yiudR1nMd0YQkzyHrGyQzXjpIFK2mwgRirGL0WxYaSpbSLN7NyaVmbY_QVhq5Xykr0gpB4KGhHB9UaFDjOaxPRcMplEvEz83faRRIzNFMe6NxruU4_rnc/s1600-h/DSCN2019.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5183053573043543570" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixJMxsb24AOsxp4m8pjUgbd0yiudR1nMd0YQkzyHrGyQzXjpIFK2mwgRirGL0WxYaSpbSLN7NyaVmbY_QVhq5Xykr0gpB4KGhHB9UaFDjOaxPRcMplEvEz83faRRIzNFMe6NxruU4_rnc/s400/DSCN2019.JPG" border="0" /></a>Next we dished into this lovely deep fried prawn paste wrapped with shredded filo pastry (long see shin har kuen). I have yet to taste such crispy wrapped before and this was done accurately. Well, let me tell you this . . . , we had two huge thick slices of cod fish. As far as I can remember, I always had cod fish for dinner and that was when I was staying in Scotland and cod fish was plentiful, I was so lucky to have them as back here, I would considered them expensive and a luxury. Chef Low had our cod fish baked and with honey sauce coating (mut jup ko sut yue). The fish was baked to perfection as I love the crunchiness of the outer layer and with the honey sauce, it was totally perfect.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm-wWF_LrZaJd6Juesfj4ELW9FrqSDQc9p61bJgI3Gra23W5hSRw6Z8CILLEnuZpU2gZ_jdKlhlSHAPOA3vNNLZ2eSOycbJK1OVkI3IBnVIPrlMk7_YTZpHbOk0bHhGQjqOJcW87zaMbo/s1600-h/DSCN2032.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5183058147183713842" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm-wWF_LrZaJd6Juesfj4ELW9FrqSDQc9p61bJgI3Gra23W5hSRw6Z8CILLEnuZpU2gZ_jdKlhlSHAPOA3vNNLZ2eSOycbJK1OVkI3IBnVIPrlMk7_YTZpHbOk0bHhGQjqOJcW87zaMbo/s400/DSCN2032.JPG" border="0" /></a>We had a simple vegetable dish, kai lan topped with deep fried shredded fish fillet (long see kai lan choy). Simple and yet delicious enough to satisfied my hunger.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8EbIdydRcAHXSYJdZO8xduRE7EIDczsglY9Xh5SH2HDzxZBXu9NaebxT7Ydv17cB5ptoR2vsSRzjZYkqAY3oElgFgcNN_iR1iVqUY3OwRplCsRxwu8evO0c9XwIlwO1vA2FX1CMLEQyY/s1600-h/DSCN2062.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5183058155773648450" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8EbIdydRcAHXSYJdZO8xduRE7EIDczsglY9Xh5SH2HDzxZBXu9NaebxT7Ydv17cB5ptoR2vsSRzjZYkqAY3oElgFgcNN_iR1iVqUY3OwRplCsRxwu8evO0c9XwIlwO1vA2FX1CMLEQyY/s400/DSCN2062.JPG" border="0" /></a>We also dished into some fried rice top with small anchovies which was good and tasty.<br /><br />At the end of the meal, Chef Low came to our table to meet us and we had a great chat about food, experience, recipes and something that I will definitely not share with you!<br /><br />It was a great night out and this is a place I would highly recommend and I am sure you might see me there too!<br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;"><strong>Promotion:<br /><br />ALL YOU CAN EAT DIM SUM<br />Total of 80 types of Dim Sum to feast from.<br />Adult : RM 27.80++<br />Senior Citizen : RM 23.80++<br />Children : RM 16.80++<br />(minimum 2 persons)<br /><br />BUFFET DINNER<br />Starting from 1st April 2008, you can order any of the 38dishes listed from the menu.<br />Adult : RM 33.80++<br />Senior Citizen : RM 26.80++<br />Children : RM 21.80++<br />(minimum 2 persons)<br /><br />OPULENT COURT<br />Pearl International Hotel<br />1-1-2, Batu 5<br />Jalan Klang Lama<br />58000 Kuala Lumpur<br />Malaysia<br />Tel: (603) 7980 9888<br />Fax: (603) 7980 6888 </strong></span></div>Big Boys Ovenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14498466785947937265noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3355393694746428807.post-25462417743510994582008-04-30T13:35:00.000+08:002008-04-29T22:37:11.821+08:00Stylish Fusion With Bursting Flavours<p align="center"><a title="D'Fortune by gregw3602, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/23203564@N07/2406911539/"><img height="375" alt="D'Fortune" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2096/2406911539_92b14f9717.jpg" width="500" /></a></p><p align="justify">When we arrived at the entrance of this café, we were welcome by this beautifully wood crafted panel with the word D’Fortune, so lovely. The day was lovely, so we decided to have our lunch outside and ordered a few cup of the lite warm lemon tea which was really really good and tasty.<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="lemondrink by gregw3602, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/23203564@N07/2407747666/"><img height="500" alt="lemondrink" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3034/2407747666_59bc85ee0c.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">Here came the lamb shank, it was tasty, crispy on the outside and meat is so tender and delicious. It came with homemade mashed potato which was smashingly delicious and not from those dried potato flakes which taste horrified. There were also cherry tomatoes, green beans and cauliflower.<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="lambshank by gregw3602, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/23203564@N07/2407746732/"><img height="375" alt="lambshank" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3112/2407746732_15c3e254c8.jpg" width="500" /></a></p><p align="justify">Oh next came the heavenly tortilla filled with chicken sliced and melted mozzarella cheese. Guess what, there was salsa sauce to go with it too. The tortilla was awesome and soft and the mozzarella really melted my heart.<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="tortilla by gregw3602, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/23203564@N07/2407753236/"><img height="500" alt="tortilla" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3264/2407753236_414097a067.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><br /><br /><p align="center"><a title="seafoodpasta by gregw3602, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/23203564@N07/2406918133/"><img height="500" alt="seafoodpasta" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3192/2406918133_eaac059b88.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">Oh next seafood pasta dish is something to shout about. I am not so sure what goes into this fried spaghetti but it was so fragrant and yummy delicious. It was the tastiest pasta dish that I ever had, prawn and squid were very fresh and not forgetting the mussels too.<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="sausages by gregw3602, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/23203564@N07/2406916931/"><img height="500" alt="sausages" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2206/2406916931_602ba2edca.jpg" width="375" /></a></p><p align="justify">Strangely came a huge plate fill with a variety of pan fried sausages. There were chicken and turkey filled with garlic, herbs and black pepper. It was tasty but I prefer to have thicker ones.<br /><br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="sunny by gregw3602, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/23203564@N07/2407752384/"><img height="500" alt="sunny" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3276/2407752384_b011b87069.jpg" width="375" /></a></p>I thought we were going to have deep fried spring chicken but this devil looks rather smaller, oh! It was the “Sar Thin Kai” brought from Perak. It was nice, the meat was tender and the skin was crispy.<br /><br /><p align="center"><a title="sartinkai by gregw3602, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/23203564@N07/2406915755/"><img height="375" alt="sartinkai" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2294/2406915755_fe7bf6ba73.jpg" width="500" /></a></p><p align="justify">Oh! The finale, we had pan fried dory fish with baked melted cheese and accompany with olio-olio spaghetti. The fish was cooked to perfection and no fishy smell at all. We loved it!<br /><br /></p><p align="center"><a title="doryfishpasta by gregw3602, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/23203564@N07/2407745636/"><img height="375" alt="doryfishpasta" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3032/2407745636_f181f1af2e.jpg" width="500" /></a></p>Look we had a great feast!<br /><br /><p align="center"><a title="Afeast by gregw3602, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/23203564@N07/2406910273/"><img height="375" alt="Afeast" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3211/2406910273_35554076c1.jpg" width="500" /></a></p><p><br />D'Fortune Western Cuisine & Cafe<br />No 2A & 3A, Jalan USJ 10/1J,<br />47620 Petaling Jaya<br />Selangor Darul Ehsan<br />Tel No: 03 8025 9509<br />Fax No: 03 8025 9250</p>Big Boys Ovenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14498466785947937265noreply@blogger.com9
